First Wash & Excess Dye Release

Our dark-colored tennis apparel is dyed using eco-friendly dyes. During the first wash, a small amount of excess dye may be released. This is a normal occurrence and is not a product defect.

To achieve rich, long-lasting color, a small amount of dye may remain on the fabric surface after the dyeing process. This excess dye will naturally wash away during the first wash and will not affect the garment’s overall color, appearance, or performance.

Avoid Soaking

Prolonged soaking may cause excessive dye release, uneven coloration, and potential damage to the fabric.

For best results, please hang to dry immediately after washing. Do not leave garments soaking for more than 15 minutes.

Special Reminder: Do not use disinfectant, strong alkaline laundry detergent, or bleach!

The chemical ingredients in these products can damage both the dye structure and the fabric fibers, resulting in excessive color loss, uneven fading, and reduced garment appearance and performance.

Tips

  • Hand wash recommended. Water temperature should not exceed 30°C (86°F) to help preserve color stability.
  • Wash dark and light colors separately to prevent color transfer.
  • Use a mild or neutral detergent, such as one designed for wool or silk. Avoid alkaline detergents, bar soap, bleach, and disinfectants.
  • High temperatures and tumble drying can damage permanent pleats and may cause shrinkage, wrinkling, deformation, or fading.
  • If slight wrinkles appear, lightly dampen the hem, hang the skirt, and gently smooth the pleats by hand.
  • Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause fading, fabric aging, and loss of elasticity. Dry inside out in the shade or hang dry naturally. Do not tumble dry.
  • Tennis apparel fabrics, typically blends of polyester, nylon, and spandex, are not suitable for dry cleaning. Dry-cleaning solvents may damage fabric elasticity and color performance, resulting in stiffness and fading.
  • Fabric softeners may affect dye stability, causing fading, dullness, or whitening. They can also leave residue on the fabric and alter its original texture.
